Behind the Work

One direct perspective connecting strategy, design, and execution.

I built Maroon's Digital Engagement Services in Bloomington, California, to work directly with businesses throughout the Inland Empire and Southern California. When we discuss your goals, you are speaking with the person who will evaluate the need, shape the direction, and carry the work through its defined scope.

My approach brings marketing judgment, visual design, website experience, and measurement together so each project can be considered as a connected business need rather than an isolated deliverable.

Independent by design

Direct communication, clearly defined scope, and one accountable point of contact throughout the work.

Professional Experience

Experience developed across different kinds of work.

This professional background was developed through previous roles and is the experience I now bring into the work offered through Maroon's Digital Engagement Services.

My professional background has developed across industrial and manufacturing environments, office and corporate settings, retail and restaurant operations, and roles that involved working with contractors, architects, landscapers, and builders.

Each environment required a different way of communicating, organizing information, understanding customer needs, and accounting for the practical conditions surrounding the work. Together, those experiences shape the broader perspective I now bring to Maroon's Digital Engagement Services.

Industrial Perspective

Industrial & Manufacturing Experience

Experience in industrial and manufacturing environments taught me to pay close attention to specifications, materials, production requirements, lead times, and the relationship between how something is presented and how it must function in practical use.

It also reinforced the importance of accurate information when customers and project professionals are making decisions that affect a larger installation or finished result.

Organizational Perspective

Office & Corporate Experience

Office and corporate experience strengthened my ability to organize information, communicate professionally across different roles, document decisions, manage competing priorities, and understand how internal processes affect customer-facing outcomes.

That perspective is especially valuable when a project must remain understandable to more than one decision-maker.

Customer Perspective

Retail & Restaurant Experience

Retail and restaurant experience provided direct exposure to customer expectations, service pressure, sales conversations, daily operations, and the importance of communicating clearly when people need useful answers quickly.

It showed me that the customer experience is shaped by more than promotion. It is also shaped by clarity, responsiveness, presentation, and whether the business delivers on what it communicates.

Project Perspective

Working With Project Professionals

In previous roles, I worked with contractors, architects, landscapers, and builders whose questions often depended on project conditions, specifications, timelines, and practical application.

That experience taught me why professional communication must be accurate, responsive, and grounded in the requirements of the larger project rather than limited to a single transaction.

What this brings to the work

A broader view of how businesses operate, communicate, and serve people.

Different working environments have taught me to consider the technical requirement, the internal process, the customer experience, and the larger project context rather than evaluating a marketing or design need in isolation.

  • Technical accuracy
  • Organized communication
  • Customer awareness
  • Project context

Creative & Analytical Foundation

Creative judgment becomes stronger when it is supported by context and analysis.

EducationCalifornia State University, Long Beach: Bachelor's degree with a double major in Studio Art and Art History

I graduated from California State University, Long Beach with a bachelor's degree and a double major in Studio Art and Art History. The combination trained me to create visual work while also studying how imagery, design, culture, and context influence the way people interpret what they see.

That education continues to shape how I evaluate marketing and design. I consider not only whether something looks polished, but how composition guides attention, how visual choices support a message, and how the finished work functions for a particular audience and application.

This foundation informs every project I approach. Whether developing a brand identity, crafting digital experiences, or planning a marketing campaign, I draw on both the technical skills and the critical thinking that came from studying art as both practice and discipline.

Creative Practice

Studio Art

Studio Art developed my practical understanding of composition, color relationships, balance, form, visual hierarchy, and iterative creative development. It taught me to make intentional choices while remaining open to refinement as a piece takes shape.

That foundation supports the design work I provide today, from logos and brand systems to websites, promotional materials, and other visual applications.

Critical Perspective

Art History

Art History strengthened my ability to research, interpret visual information, examine work within its broader context, and explain why particular choices communicate meaning. It also developed disciplined writing and the ability to support an interpretation with evidence.

Those skills translate naturally into marketing strategy, website evaluation, audience research, and the careful interpretation of performance information.

From Education to Practice

Creative and analytical thinking now work together across digital projects.

My later experience in website design, paid search, SEO, and analytics expanded that artistic foundation into digital environments where visual decisions can be evaluated alongside usability, search visibility, engagement, and conversion behavior.

Maroon's brings these disciplines into one working relationship so strategy is not separated from presentation and design is not separated from purpose.
